This website is dedicated to our vacation home on lake Como in Italy. This is a lovely new luxury small villa, which is part of a private development called Parco Dei Cervi [The Deer Park], and accessed through a private road. It is nestled on a fantastic location on the Menaggio-Plesio mountainside and has arguably one of the best breathtaking panoramic views in lake como [panoramic photo above taken from our terrace]. The unmatched views stretch from the spectacular Bellagio peninsula of in the south to Villa Gaeta to the North [featured in James Bond Casino Royale].

Villa Design & facilities
The villa design was inspired by the Art Noveau era [known as the Liberty style in Italy]. It features Liberty style Wrought Iron staircase, reclaimed original Marble Liberty style fireplace in the main lounge and reclaimed original Cast Iron Art Noveau fireplace in the lower Hall. The 3 storey villa has Botticino marble floors throughout and is decorated with replicas of classic [Canalletto, Da Vinci], impressionist [Monet, Manet] and some modern paintings [Kinkade, Lushpin]. It has 3 double bedrooms and 3 en-suite bathrooms, lounge, TV, Satellite, Internet, classic English dinning table & 6 chairs, fully equipped Kitchen, Breakfast area with 2 stools. A second 55-inch smart 3D TV, Satellite, and Internet in the lower floor. The villa has laundry facilities, electronic safe and 2 private garages.
The swimming pool commands an elevated plateau, also with stunning views of the lake.
The open plan ground floor features 2 luxurious Italian Sofas [by Piggoli] in front of a beautiful 100 year old Liberty marble fireplace and a huge panoramic arched window with lake views. There is a high quality modern fully fitted U shaped kitchen [by Scavolini] and breakfast table, complete with beautiful black-maroon granite tops. Kitchen has a gas oven, hob, extractor hood, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, dishwasher and fridge-freeze. The breakfast area has separate seating for 2 guests. The Dinning area has a beautiful rectangular classic English [by Bradley] dining table with 6 seats.
Double doors lead outside into a sunny garden with stone arches that covers a generous patio area that features a second beautiful ceramic top outside dining table with 6 seats. The garden has trees, colourful shrubs, Jasmine hedge, stone built BBQ, ornamental wooden bridge, grass lawn, sun lounges and benches. The garden also has spectacular lake views of lake Como center with views of the towns of Bellagio, Varenna, Baleno and the surrounding mountains.
The villa has a stunning open plan Liberty style wrought iron stairs that lead from the living area up to the first floor which features two charming air conditioned double bedrooms [king size beds] with 2 en-suite bathrooms with fantastic lake views. The upper bedrooms are furnished to a high modern standard, fitted with nearly silent Mitsubishi air conditioning units. The luxurious marble tiled en-suite bathrooms have Forest green Marble vanity tops [one with bath tub, the second with wet shower room, thermostatic shower]
The upper bedrooms Lead to a large 9 x 2 meters L-shaped terrace with absolutely stunning views of lake Como. The large terrace features a bistro table with 2 chairs, sofa and a hammock.
The beautiful Liberty style wrought iron stairs descends from the living area to the lower Hall with classic paintings and the spacious lower 3rd bedroom/living area and the 3rd marble tiled en-suite bathroom with Emperador marble vanity top. The 3rd bedroom features a king sized bed as well as a leather sofa/sofa-bed.

Local Attractions
The picturesque heart of the lakeside resort town of Menaggio is 8 minutes drive from the villa and has one of the best lakeside promenades anywhere in the world, many beautiful cafe lined piazzas and some excellent restaurants. Menaggio offers a wide selection of activities, foremost is boat hire & water sports, but also a children’s park, mini go kart track, mini golf and a modern Lido with swimming pools and beach. Sailing & kayaking and other water sports are available in the north of the lake. Amenities include banks, cafes, boutique clothes and jewellery shops, delicatessens, bakers as well as supermarkets.
Activities in the vicinity include Biking, hiking, golf at the world famous Menaggio & Cadenabbia Golf Club and horse riding in Porlezza. The Lido bar nightclub in Lenno is also a popular destination in the evenings.
Local attractions in the area also include several pretty and romantic villas including Villa Carlotta, Villa Melzi, Villa Balbianello. The beautiful towns of Menaggio, Varenna, Bellagio are lovely and should be explored. Similarly, it is worth venturing to visit all the villages along the scenic road linking Menaggio and Como city to the south as well as villages in the north and eastern parts of the lake.
Guests can also enjoy a variety of activities in lake Como, which include sailing, kayaking, water sports, quad bike tours and other sports. Ski resorts are many and varied from Madesimo to St Moritz, and are just 1-2 hours drive away.
Dinning
Fine Italian dinning can be found easily along the western lake shore, from Menaggio to Como.
Access & Transport
The villa is highly accessible from all major Milan and Swiss airports. Regular car and passenger ferry service operate from Menaggio to Bellagio, Varenna and other destinations. There are local lake bus service and Milan Malpensa [98 km], Linate [105] & Bergamo [130 km] airports shuttles all operate regularly from the town. The City of Lugano in Switzerland is 32 km away [airport 38 km] and easily accessible by car. Milan is 92 km away. St. Moritz ski resort is 102 km away.
